Environmental protection: 

It does not contain strictly controlled heavy metals and o-benzene toxic components. The polyurethane material synthesized with this product can pass the general environmental protection regulations.

 

Solubility:It is easily soluble in common polyurethane raw materials such as polyether polyol and plasticizer.

WCAT-WS13A is a high efficient catalyst developed for one component moisture curing polyurethane based on the principle of crosslinking curing reaction between moisturer in the environment and isocyanate group in oligomer. It has the following characteristics:

  • It can effectively reduce bubbles and bulges, and the coating is bright and has high compactness after curing. WCAT-WS13A can make the viscosity of one component moisture curable polyurethane rise slowly in the early stage of construction, with low construction viscosity and good leveling property, which is conducive to the full overflow of the mechanical bubbles wrapped in and the chemical bubbles generated in the initial reaction, and effectively reduce the surface pinholes, bulges and other phenomena after the curing of the coating.

  • The surface will dry quickly at low temperature. Excellent drying effect in the middle and late stages of curing at low temperature in winter. It improves the disadvantage of slow drying of normal catalysts in winter construction, and maintain high   curing activity in low temperature and humidity environment. The catalytic effect is obvious in low activity TDI system.

 

User's Guide:

  • It is suggested that it should be added at the later stage of the reaction of MDI/TDI with polyether polyol. (it is better after prepolymerization reaction is complete). It is not recommended to premixed in polyether polyols in advance so as not to cause severe gel accidents.

  • It is applicable to both TDI and MDI systems, and the use amount is less than that of T-12. The dosage is 0.02-0.15% of the weight of component.

  • Because the packaging equipment, formula and process of the user have different effects on the storage stability, it is suggested that the storage stability test must be carried out before use.

  • This product has certain water-absorbing quality. Do not expose it to the air to prevent water absorption. After normal use, pay attention to immediately close the tank mouth to avoid open placement.

  • The environmental protection depends on the use of the final polyurethane product using this catalyst and the environmental protection regulations matching it. It is recommended that the user conduct necessary third-party environmental protection testing and certification before use to determine.

 

 

Handling & Storage:

Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight, excessive heat and rain.

It is normal that the color gradually darkens during storage.

 

Package: 25kg/200kg in HDPE drum

 

Shelf Life: The unopened shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. After expiration, it can still be used if the test activity is qualified.
