Polyurethane Defoamer YRXP-02 is a high-efficiency multi-purpose non-silicon defoamer, which is suitable for anti-foaming both on production process and static, demonstrating high performance in most of systems with small dosage. It is recommended to non-aqueous systems, especially for the systems which the silicon is limited using.

Soluble in normal polyurethane raw materials (polyether polyol, plasticizer)


Applications: YRXP-02 can be widely used in diverse PU CASE applications


Features & Advantage

◆ General-purpose  defoamer,  to  be  used  in  the  systems  with  solvent/non-solvent, filler/non-filler.

◆ Excellent performance of inhibiting and breaking foam, to be suitable for anti-foaming both on production process and static.

◆ Non-silicon content, to be applicable to the systems which the silicon is limited using in particular.

◆ Environmental protection and safety, to be applied to food contact materials.

◆ To be compatible with various systems, be soluble in benzene, toluene, mineral oil and ester solvents.


User's Guide:

▶ Levels of 0.2-0.5% as supplied by weight on total volume. For high surface tension, systems, the dosage could be up to 1% or even more. Please test to make sure the best dosage.

▶ Please shake well before using. It can be diluted before using with right solvent/diluent.

▶ YRXP-02 may result in slight fogging and reducing transparency in some systems. Please test before using in case of high transparency requirement.


Handling & Storage:

Exposure to atmosphere should  be  avoided. Product should  be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and excessive heat.


Package: 25kg/200kg in HDPE drum


Shelf Life: Unopened shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
