Eco-friendly Characteristic:

It does not contain dibutyltin dilaurate (T-12), stannous octanoate (T-9) and other organotin compounds and tin elements, and does not contain heavy metals, o-benzene and other restricted substances. It complies with strict international environmental protection regulations and is an environmental protection substitute for organotin catalysts.

AUCAT-1301 is developed for the synthesis catalysis of aliphatic isocyanate yellowing resistant PU resin, such as synthetic shoe adhesive. It has the following characteristics: 

  • It does not contain tin and is environmentally friendly, ensuring that it meets the stringent requirements of environmental protection regulations. Organotin, as a catalyst, has always occupied a leading position in the polyurethane industry, but its toxicity and harm to the environment have attracted extensive attention. In recent years, environmental protection regulations in various fields at home and abroad have strictly restricted organotin, which is no longer suitable for market development and demand. Enterprises should eliminate and replace it as soon as possible.

  • The reaction viscosity of the resin increases rapidly, the synthesis time is shortened, and the process stability is the same as that of organotin. Solve the problems of low catalytic activity of organic bismuth, slow increase of viscosity or even failure of viscosity (slow increase of molecular mass or even failure to produce resin of high molecular mass). Synthesis of adhesive resin for shoes, with accurate and stable rod-climbing time, and the production efficiency is the same as that of organic tin.

  • The catalytic activity is close to that of organotin, which is more than 20 times higher than that of organobismuth. The dosage is slightly higher than that of organotin,but it is only one in dozens of organic bismuth.

  • It does not affect the transparency of polyester resin. The polyester resin synthesized by using organic bismuth instead of organic tin has the disadvantage of turbidity and opacity, while the resin synthesized by AUCAT-1301 is water white and transparent.


Applications:

It is recommended to be used in the synthesis of PU resin in aliphatic isocyanate system (HDI / IPDI / HMDI), such as the synthesis of non yellowing shoe adhesive. The main applications include yellowing resistant shoe adhesive, yellowing resistant PU resin for ink / coating, textile, leather finishing resin and other products.

 

User's Guide:

  • It is used for PU resin synthesis. It can be added at any stage of the synthesis process according to needs. It can be added at one time in the early stage of the reaction, or in stages to control the reaction speed in the reaction process.

  • The general dosage is 0.1 ~ 0.3% of the weight of polyol.

  • Be sure to seal and store immediately after use.

 

Handling & Storage:

Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight, excessive heat and rain.

 

Package: 25kg/200kg in HDPE drum

 

Shelf Life: 

The unopened shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacture. If the catalytic activity is not reduced after the shelf life, it can still be used as qualified products
