Easily soluble in normal polyurethane raw materials (polyether polyol, plasticizer, solvent, etc.)

Applications：

• It is recommended for polyurethane elastomer of two-component composite (2K system material) and other products in CASE field. It is a similar derivative of CUCAT-8 and improves the reaction activity.

• This product can be widely used in various products in the CASE field of polyurethane, such as casters, two-component sealant, adhesive, coating, rubber plate and rod, etc. The curing temperature is low (It also can be cured at room termperature), which greatly shorten the molding and demoulding time (minimum 1 minute),so as to greatly reduce energy consumption and production cost, and the formula design is more flexible to improve the mechanical properties of the final product.

Features & Advantage:

• CUCAT-PDAA is developed according to the bubble free requirements of products (especially elastomers) in the CASE field of polyurethane. Different from common amine / tin catalysts, it can effectively avoid the reaction of trace moisture in raw materials with isocyanates and the generation of CO2 bubbles (polyether polyols can be used without high-temperature vacuum dehydration). Even in high-temperature rainy season and high humidity environment, it can effectively avoid bubbling, cracking, bulging, peeling and other phenomena of products, This feature is very similar to organic mercury and can replace organic mercury. 

• This product can strongly catalyze and balance the reaction of hydroxyl and amine groups with isocyanate, and has high catalytic efficiency for 2K Polyurethane System Materials using amines and alcohols such as MOCA and BDO as chain extenders. It can be cured at room temperature whether in TDI or MDI system; If the heating temperature of raw material / mold / vulcanization is above 60 ℃, it can generally meet the strong requirements for demoulding in 25 minutes (or even less), so as to achieve low energy consumption and high production efficiency. In the field of elastomer, it can save more than 50% of the energy consumption cost compared with the traditional process of directly adding high-temperature melting MOCA. If it is used for mass continuous production of industrial castors, it can significantly reduce the cost.

User's Guide:

• It is recommended to be added into polyol (material P) component, preferably after vacuum degassing and before filling, and stir evenly.

• It is not recommended to be added into the ISO (material I) component to avoid the risk of gel in the tank.

• The tank mouth must be closed immediately after normal use.

• The dosage is related to isocyanate system and hardness, which is generally 0.05 ~ 0.3% of the weight of P material.

• Because the products are used for different purposes and have different environmental protection requirements, it is recommended that users should conduct self-evaluation according to the actual detection of relevant standards.

Handling & Storage:

Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight, excessive heat and rain.

Shelf Life: 

The unopened shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. After expiration, if the test is qualified, it can still be used normally.
