Applications:

It is recommended to be used for light color and transparent polyether type polyurethane products with strict appearance requirements, such as transparent roller skates, shoe materials, cold pad gel, plastic runway glue, etc. If used with UVK-TC (weight ratio 1:1), the anti yellowing effect will be better.

UVK-CL4 is used in polyurethane with high efficiency anti-aging and anti yellowing characteristics. By comprehensively preventing/reducing the photodegradation, oxidation, thermal degradation, etc. of polyurethane materials caused by external factors such as light, oxygen, heat, etc., it can delay the yellowing and aging of polyurethane and improve the service life of polyurethane. The unique characteristics are as following:
High molecular weight, stable chemical structure and good compatibility. It will not migrate from polyurethane materials both at high and low temperatures.
Low addition but excellent anti-oxidation and anti-yellowing effect.

User's Guide:
UVK-CL4 can be added into both isocyanates and polyols component, normally suggesting to be added into polyols component and stirring well
For isocyanates component, it can be added at any stage. Adding it before reaction can prevent the occurrence of yellowing of prepolymer; Although we think it is safe to be added into isocyanate components, in view of the active property of isocyanate, it is still recommended to confirm the storage stability test before use.,
The dosage depends on the grade of yellowing resistance, and the recommended dosage is 0.2-1% of the total weight.
Handling & Storage:
Exposure to atmosphere should be avoided. Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight and excessive heat.

Shelf Life: Unopened shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
