CUCAT-RM60

CUCAT-RM60 is used in MDI system, it has significant thermal delay catalysis. It does not catalyze or weakly catalyzes the reaction at the initial stage of material mixing at room temperature, and keeps the material low viscosity and good fluidity, and has a long pot life, which is conducive to the rapid filling of complex mold cavities; In the later stage, with the aggregation of reaction, the material temperature increased, and the catalytic activity increased rapidly, so that the gel reaction can be completed quickly.

Applications:

It is widely used in various products in the field of polyurethane. It is suitable for the production of low modulus products with MDI system requiring long fluidity and rapid forming, such as various low hardness elastomer products, such as Gel, PU anti slip pad, insole, etc. Used in the production of solvent-free PU synthetic leather; Used for aliphatic isocyanate system, etc.

CUCAT-RM60 is used in MDI system, it has significant thermal delay catalysis., it has the following characteristics:

  • Long flow period(pot life), especially suitable for the production of products with high mold temperature and high material fluidity requirements.

  • High catalytic activity in the later stage, fast post curing and forming. Solve the problems of poor fluidity in the early stage and insufficient catalytic activity in the later stage of conventional bismuth zinc catalyst.

  • It can be used as the main catalyst or in combination with other catalysts such as AUCAT-201 to flexibly adjust the balance between operation time and post forming time.

 

User's Guide:

  • It is suitable for polyurethane two-component composite. It is recommended to be add into polyol (P material) component, add it after vacuum dehydration and stir evenly.

  • The dosage is related to the formula. The general dosage is 0.02 ~ 0.5% of the weight of P material (Polyol component).

  • It is not recommended to be added into isocyanate prepolymer (material I). If it must be added, the applicability and storage stability test must be carried out first.

  • Be sure to seal and store immediately after use; The color of the product will gradually deepen during storage, which is a normal phenomenon.

 

Handling & Storage:

Product should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from sunlight, excessive heat and rain.

 

Package: 25kg / 200kg in HDPE drum

 

Shelf Life: The unopened shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. After the shelf life, After shelf life, the catalyst can still be used if it does not lose activity.
